Foundation

Foundation is our entry-level squad to NSSA. Most skaters will be offered a place here initially for a season or two following a successful trial period.  Skaters work on the basic skills that they need in order to progress into other squads.

We currently have a mix of ages from 8 to 15.  This is a friendly, fun and supportive squad that includes a wide range of skating ability.  For the 2024/2025 season, Foundation will be a non-competitive squad.  In the past, they have competed in both the Pre-Juvie and Beginner categories and hope to do so again in the future.
